May Camp

We are in the process of organising a camp over the 1st bank holiday weekend in May, from Saturday the 2nd of May to Monday the 5th of May we were looking into the Walesby challenge camp, however we will probably be doing a 'stand alone' camp at Kibblestone instead, letters for this should be going out soon.

also please bring any Alton Towers camp forms/letters back as soon as possible, thanks.

A couple of camps

As some of you may know we have been unable to attend the Spring bank camp at Drum hill due to a  combination of not enough responses in time/lack of interest and a rapidly booked up camp from other groups.
If you have already sent a deposit in for spring bank this will be returned as we haven't been able to book in

However we may still be able to go to another camp, this time from Friday the 2nd of May to Monday the 5th of May  and we will try and get in on the Walesby challenge camp, info here http://www.walesbyforest.co.uk/challenge1.html

This is a challenge like no other.
Groups will compete over a 3 day period in
both physical and cerebral challenges

Teams will earn points for successful completion and the

winning Team will be awarded the Walesby Trophy.
This will be a super weekend and great of fun for all.

Activities will include Laser Quest, Archery, Climbing Walls, Air Rifle Shooting, Kayaking, Zip Line, Water Zorbs, Assault Course, Nightline, Raft Building, Cave Maze and much, much more.

Activities start at 10.00a.m. on Saturday and concluding with presentations at noon on Monday.

Collect points as you conquer each challenge and the winning team will get the coveted Walesby Trophy for 2014.

If no spaces are available then we will still cap over that weekend but on a standard weekend at another site ( such as kibblestone ) booking our own activities.

Also coming up is the air weekend( final bits and bobs being sorted now )  postponed from Last year, Saturday 29th-30th of March, Im aware that one Scout who was due to go on the 2013 original weekend can not make it, and this means that we may have one space spare, letters about this will be sent out soon to those who were down to go on the 2013 October/November weekend.
