This Week we are meeting at Trent lock for an archery session, Meeting at 7pm and finishing at
9pm.
Trent lock Scout Activity
Centre is located just past Sawley marina, and is signposted ( brown
tourist sign) Just off the B6540 Tamworth road heading towards Long
Eaton, The area itself is where the Erewash canal and the River Soar
join the river Trent. On one side of the river bank/canal you will
find two pubs and a tearooms and a very good view across the river to
the Scout activity centre, where you can watch what’s taking place.
The nearest car park is
located at the bottom of lock lane and its a free public car park,
postcode NG10 2FY ( bottom of the lane and on the right ) the meeting
point is on the river bank at the Scout centre pontoon at 7pm
