Scout activity badges, Activity badges old requirements, Staged badges some of the staged badges are awarded after taking part in scouting activities such as nights away/hikes away etc

Air weekend

So today flying was not to be, weve done the theory side of things and a few activities on the ground, however the sky wasnt quite clear enough
and despite it looking promising at 12pm, the forecast proved correct and the cloud base stubbornly refused to lift.
So off we went to Duxford,  we are now back at Cambridge Gliding centre, where we will spend the night.

Tomorrow hopefuly the weather will be better, although the forecast isnt looking that great.
If the weather is bad then we will visit the shuttleworth collection and then return home.

This means that we will try and re-schedule the flying element of the weekend, at the moment, if the motorglider is available we will try for Saturday the 29th of November or Sunday the 30th of November
this will be a one day trip ( no overnight ) returning on the same day – the best day for us would be Saturday the 29th November, please let us know as soon as possible – you should have my mobile number (Text  - its on the air weekend info letter) and the Scout email address if Texting please start your text with the Scouts name.
the times of the air weekend ( flying element only ) would be meet at the Scout hut at 6:45am and returning between 5 and 7pm this will be confirmed via this blog.

again please let us know as soon as possible – we will need to move quick on this
