Night Hike

Scout Night hike this weekend : meet Saturday 8pm, at the Scout hut pick up Sunday 10am at the Scout hut, cost £2.50

 

Suggested Kit list - please note that any Scouts with unsuitable clothing/footwear, or any other unsuitable kit will not be permitted to take part at the discretion of the leaders.

 

Overnight at the Scout hut

For the Night Hike

  • Sleeping bag

  • roll\carry\foam mat ( to sleep on)

  • indoor shoes

  • change of clothing

  • wash kit

  • Walking boots+suitable socks

  • Waterproof top

  • waterproof trousers

  • Warm top\spare tshirt

  • Warm Hat

  • gloves

  • small personal first aid kit

  • any medication required

  • Whistle

  • torch+spare batteries etc

  • Flask, with a hot drink inside

  • Water bottle, with a cold drink inside

  • Snacks ( ie chocolate etc)

  • pen+paper

  • Jeans and other such trousers are not suitable to walk in

  • Please do not bring Mobile Phones, or any other electronic devices
